About Me
Whitney started as a Cosmetologist in the early 90's and worked as a hairstylist until the day a job at Glamour Shots in 96, gave another opportunity of advancement in the art of creativity. Picking up the techniques and training from experienced makeup artist, Whitney developed a personal relationship with the art of Makeup Artistry. Even while working as a Makeup Artist, Whitney went to the Art Institute of Houston and completed a Graphics Design program. While working as a Graphic Designer at the time, and on numerous fashions shows, and local events as a makeup artist, Whitney met an R&B artist from New Orleans: "Euricka, The Golden Child" and the trend of the celebrity based projects began. From that point til now, it's been major project after major project. Even after attaining the knowledge of becoming a makeup artist at those times, I still found it necessary to travel and aquire the knowledge of more experienced makeup artist in other parts of the country. And I still do. The practice never ends. I remember saying when I was new to the industry that, "One day I will work with the Stars." ...A life-long dream fulfilled.
